Yes, I do! If I didnt... I dont think Id have 4 of my very own. But.. I love other peoples children because I get to give them back to mom and dad! He he he! =) AND... they are such fun to photograph. I love that theyre unpredictable. I love the chubby legs. I love the little giggles. And I love the sweet looks a brother or sister will give his or her sibling when they know no ones looking. (No, not the 'Im going to kill you' look either...lmao) Yes, I love children!
So, I finally had the chance to photograph an engagement party for a different culture. I LOVE all the different cultures we have in this world! I was never well rounded and knew nothing of any culture except my own (not even) until I met my husband. He was born a raised in Portugal and Im soooo very glad that MY children get to see what I didnt as a child. So now, as an adult, and a bit more well rounded, photographing this engagement party was a BLAST! The poor couple was so nervous at first but after being with loving family and friends, they soon relaxed and enjoyed the night! Heres some from the night.... talk about great colors!!!
So its been a while since my last wedding and OMG.. what a feeling to be back in the game! I absolutely LOVE weddings! And MANY photographers will tell you they DONT like them because its a lot of work. And it IS.. but I LIVE for it!!! This weekend I photographed the most GORGEOUS couple and shared their day with them for nearly 12 hrs.!!! I have tons more coming up and I cant wait!! So Im a bit late in posting lately, but with good reason, I promise.
Ive recently had the chance to shoot some clothing designs for Hot Tots Boutique! Her pillowcase dresses and accessories are absolutely TO DIE FOR! So I had a few models come by to shoot the dresses. Yes,... eeeeeeeee! Thats pretty much all I can say about this session!!! I was soooo excited to do this shoot! My FIRST urban session!!! Go figure, I live in NY and havent done one until now! Anyhow... I was so worried about finding a location. Well, leave it to me to wait until the top of the hour but I found someplace! Guess where?!! RIGHT DOWN THE STREET FROM ME!!! HA!! What has always been second nature to me I overlooked. The SAME place I pass EVERY DAY to get my coffee coolattas was my urban haven!!!
Not only was this the coolest session, but I got to shoot one of my FAVORITE clients!!! She is a ball of energy and fun!! She needs such little direction. She was coming up with her own ideas and was a NATURAL at posing! But to get her to give me a serious look... only made her infectious laugh even louder and more contagious!!! But we got what we went for!
I cant WAIT to do this again!! Urban sessions anyone?!!!
